What fire alarm categories do you install?

We design and install all categories from L1 (full coverage) to P2 (property protection), as well as M (manual) systems. The category is determined by the fire risk assessment and building use.

Do buildings need sprinklers?

Sprinklers are mandatory in certain building types (e.g., residential buildings over 11m in England). For other buildings, they may be required by the fire strategy or recommended by the fire risk assessment.

How often must fire systems be tested?

Fire alarm systems require weekly testing, quarterly inspection, and annual service. Sprinkler systems require weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual testing regimes as per BS EN 12845.

Can you integrate fire systems with BMS?

Yes. We integrate fire alarm cause-and-effect with BMS for automated HVAC shutdown, smoke ventilation activation, and access control release in fire conditions.
